Ok Folks here are the answers to the first set of problems. Have a look at the second set on the padlet above and give them a try.
1. 4 for 5 euro is cheaper by €1
2. The cork is 5c and the bottle 1.05
3. 1/2 a box is 18kg so a full box is 36kg.1/3 box is 14kg so a full box is 42kg. The difference between 42kg and 36kg is the weight of the box 6kg.
4. n=3 I=5 A=9 P=7 F=8 O=0 T=6

Well done Ivin.
Take a look your number 2 above again. The car is slower than the car but not 40 kmp/h. The horse makes up the gap of 800m in 4 minutes that is 200m per min. Look at that rate per hour and then take from 50km p/h that the horse travels at to see how much slower the car is travelling.

Have a look also at number 4 your answer is 760.
Remember do not double count the fist pumps. If a team fistpumps each other that will be 20x19 but remember A fistpumping B is the same as B fistpumping A. So it is 10x19= 190 plus 20x20=400
Therefore the total is 590.
